Meet the Professor!
Professors are called “Professors” because they have something to profess. Well, this magical professor had plenty to profess. During his 98 years with us, his influence was profound and permanent. Even after this Canadian-born conjurer slipped the surly bonds of earth 24 years ago, magicians are still performing close-up and stage effects under his influence.
On February 22, Ring 41 will celebrate this legendary performer by demonstrating any magic effect in our repertoire that is linked to Vernon in some way.
Put on your thinking caps. What do you have that is Vernonesque in nature? What card move? Who is doing a ball and cone effect? What can you show? Perhaps something original but is accomplished, at least in part, thanks to something you picked up from the Vernon perspective on magic.
