Meeting Night Moved to Thursday January 26, 2017.

Due to a scheduling conflict with another event at the Tripoli Shrine, our next meeting will be changed to Thursday, January 26th, 2017.
We will be meeting at the Tripoli Shrine Center, 3000 W. Wisconsin Ave, Milwaukee. Doors open at 6:30pm and we will start at 7:00pm.
Our theme this month is “The Classics of Magic.” You know the ones I’m talking about and are probably doing some of them now, or have in the past.
Think egg bag, die box, linking rings, cut and restored rope. What about something like the Hippity Hop Rabbits or B’Wave? Would you consider them classics? How do you know a classic when you see one?
Our theme, The Classics of Magic, will have three parts. First, Doc Mossey, our Ring namesake and resident historian, will give a brief talk on one specific magic classic effect. We won’t tell you which one but we know you won’t be disappointed.
Second, we want you to present any magic effect you regard as a classic. I don’t care if we have 17 people each doing the Linking Rings. Doesn’t matter. I just want to make this a “classic” night of magic.
Third, and this may turn a bit controversial, I want to have a Round Table Discussion on The Case For and Against Performing Classics. Each coin has two sides and we’re going to explore the pro and con arguments. Be prepared to take a stand.
